📚✨ Celebrating International Literacy Day! ✨📚

Today, we honor literacy’s role in upholding human rights and advancing towards sustainable societies worldwide. 🌍

💬 Did you know? According to the #UNESCO, there are 773 million illiterate adults in the world!

Thanks to the support of OLVEA Foundation and the charity BurkinaVie, literacy campaigns (training in reading, writing and arithmetic) are carried out for rural populations in Burkina Faso.

Since this support program was set up in 2013, over 900 people have benefited from these campaigns, with 63 participants this year (of whom 83% are women).

Literacy is not just about education; it drives social transformation, personal growth, financial independence, and women’s empowerment. 🌟
