Sustainability & CSR for OLVEA

OLVEA is committed in promoting sustainable development while adding real social and economic values to the actors of our eco-responsible supply chains.

Sustainability has always been one of OLVEA’s core values. Since 2018, OLVEA formalizes its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach, with dedicated leading employees, through a policy and an action plan, accompanied by ambitious and quantifiable goals with the horizon of OLVEA’s 100th anniversary in 2029. Since 2020, OLVEA goes further by publishing annually its CSR performance report, OLVEAct Now, which is also shared with the United Nations as part of our membership to the Global Compact.

The OLVEAct Now report is based on the 6 main themes of OLVEA’s CSR Policy:

OLVEA’s management carries out its commitments through its collaborators, whether they concern ethical business, compliance with regulations or responsible procurement.

Local development

Eco actions

OLVEA has chosen to make an electric car, ecocups, tote bags and recycling bins available for its collaborators. In addition, a brochure of simple and daily eco-actions to be adopted in company is distributed to each new employee. On January, 1st, 2019, OLVEA decided to remove all plastic cups and bottles from its sites in France. With these actions, the Group is further anchoring its environmental commitment.

Our charities and foundations

OLVEA's Philanthropic Fund
OLVEA- Philanthropic Fund

In order to support social, environmental and cultural actions in the regions where it is located, the OLVEA Group has created its own Philanthropic fund in 2008, which has since then carried out numerous actions in France and Africa.

Marocavie

In order to be an active participant in sustainable development in Morocco, OLVEA Morocco’s co-workers have set up a charitable organization called Marocavie to support projects that aim to protect the Argan forest and improve the socio-economic development of the rural populations. Marocavie has financed, among other projects, the equipment of wells, school infrastructures, medical campaigns and the reforestation of the Argan forest.
