These projects empower communities to thrive by focusing on education, sustainability, and resilience. This cooperative effort has already led to the launch of several transformative initiatives, leaving a profound and enduring impact: 

Food Security

Beyond fair compensation, concrete actions are being taken to strengthen the food security of jojoba producers. Through the development funds, essential nutritional supplements are distributed to workers and their families. To guarantee regular access to quality nutrition, a balanced daily menu has been established in close coordination with local suppliers. This initiative ensures the provision of both breakfasts and lunches, significantly strengthening the health, well-being, and resilience of local communities.

Respect & Workplace Equity

Our commitment to a safe and equitable environment involves a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training program. Our partners organize regular workshops, seminars, and group sessions to empower all employees, from field workers to administrative staff. This includes mandatory two-hour training sessions focused on preventing sexual harassment in the workplace, helping to identify inappropriate behavior and raise awareness of reporting mechanisms.

Additionally, to support our workers’ overall well-being and stability, we provide dedicated training on financial literacy – covering budget management and savings – as well as specialized awareness sessions on gambling addiction. Together, these initiatives ensure a respectful, dignified, and supportive working environment for everyone.

Education & Distribution of School Kits

Each year, before the beginning of the school year, school kits are distributed to workers’ children to support their academic journey. Funded by our development initiatives, we purchase backpacks, pencil cases, notebooks, and essential supplies. By reducing this financial burden on families, we actively support children’s education and help prevent school dropout within local communities.

Housing Support

Improving living conditions is a key factor in supporting the long-term well-being of families. This project provides practical construction kits to all workers, allowing them to substantially improve and upgrade their homes. The fund finances the purchase of essential construction materials, such as cement, bricks, and roofing materials, for our partners’ employees. By supporting the renovation or expansion of homes, we help provide families with a safer, healthier, and more sustainable living environment.
